In December, Amazon’s Zoox subsidiary revealed aself-driving robotaxithat can travel up to 75 mph.

Franznick said this kind of outside expertise is needed for established automakers to develop and implement self-driving technology.

And because Big Tech is involved now, there are other issues added to those roadblocks.

Microsoft and Amazon are both underantitrust investigations, and there have been issues with user privacy, as well.
