WhatsApp Ends Support for Older Android Operating Systems

WhatsApp has discontinued support for any Android device with OS 4.0.4 or older on Monday. The updated support also applies to iPhones running iOS versions older than iOS 10.0.

The messaging appupdated a support pageover the weekend to detail WhatsApps compatibility with Android devices.

Beginning Monday, the app no longer supports Android phones with OS 4.0.4 or older.
