Here’s how it works:

Open Gmail and selectSettings(gear icon).

Select theChat and Meettab.

In the Chat section, selectGoogle Chat.

You’ll see a pop-up explaining that you’re moving to the Chat collaboration framework.

You’re now operating in the free Google Workspace framework.

Think of it as similar to Microsoft 365.
