Use these tips to troubleshoot your microSD and microSDHC memory cards.
One of the biggest problems you’ll encounter with a microSD sized memory card is simply misplacing it.
Securing it in its container will help you keep track of it.
Check for a battery issue with your camera.
Keep your camera battery full.
A low battery could end up causing a write error to the microSD card.
Place your microSD carefully.
Be sure you always properly fit the microSD card into the adapter.
Use only compatible microSDs.
Sometimes when using microSD adapters, youll find that not all adapters are compatible with every microSD card.
Try another adapter or see if any updated software drivers are available for the adapter you have.
Keep in mind that devices designed to use microSD cards cannot read some microSDHC cards.
Reformat the card if necessary.
First, however, copy all of the files to your setup.
Then reformat the rig in FAT32.
When you take this step, keep in mind that reformatting the card will erase all data on it.
Use a data recovery tool.
