The cheapest large-screen MacBook Pro costs $2,499.

Saturated colors, deeper blacks, and lots of brightness on tap to show off HDR photos and video.

The big screen is definitely a bit unwieldy compared to the 11-inch, but the advantages are many.

And now you’ll get all that without spending Pro money.

Pro Future

So what does this leave for the iPad Pro?

And then there are the existing Pro features.

The speakers, for example, sound amazing, and are easily good enough for watching movies.

More ports would be the most welcome.

A single USB-C/Thunderbolt port is absurd on a “pro” machine.

There’s also rumor of anew Apple Pencil, which may only be compatible with the new Pro iPad.

And finally, expect a new iPad Pro to have better specs than the Air.

Look forward to yet more variations of gray, light gray, and dark gray.
