Charge your Surface Slim Pen 2.
If you dont own one of these, youll need to purchase a Surface Slim Pen Charger accessory.
Check the Surface Slim Pen 2s equipment compatibility.
Check the app for compatibility information.
Have a look at the apps help or controls menus to see what is and isnt supported.
The app page in Microsoft Store may also list gear compatibility.
Turn off Airplane mode.
Bluetooth must be enabled for your Surface rig to connect with your Surface Slim Pen 2.

Pair the Surface Slim Pen 2 with your unit.
If your Surface Slim Pen 2 is already paired, delete it from the list and re-pair it.
To do that in Windows 11, go toSettings>Bluetooth & devices>Devices.
opt for three-dot menu next to the stylus' entry in the list and selectRemove gadget.
Then, add it again using theAdd devicebutton on that same page.
If necessary, this process will install firmware updates to the connected devices which can fix charging issues.
Turn off other Bluetooth devices.
Turn on tactile signals.
turn on the touchscreen in Windows.
Its possible the touchscreen may have been disabled by an app, another user, or even malware.
Incompatibility, disabled wireless parameters, pairing issues, and touchscreen problems can also cause this problem.

The only way to turn off a Surface Pen is to remove the battery.
