How to Soft Reset Your AirPods Max

First, verify your AirPods Max are fully charged.

Press and hold theNoise Controlbutton andDigital Crownat the same time for up to 20 seconds.

If your AirPods Max headphones are unresponsive, the standard restart process likely won’t work.

This process restores the gadget to default configs free of customizations like equalizer balance or max volume controls.

First, fully charge your AirPods Max.

Hold the Noise Control and Digital Crown buttons down simultaneously until the light flashes white.

It will flash amber first, but keep holding them down when you see that.

Once the LED indicator flashes white, release both buttons to reset your AirPods Max to factory options.
