More tech companies are trying to mitigate their carbon footprints and show they’re environmentally aware. Expect similar facilities that feature environmental design. Apple is building one in Austin, Texas. The Northern California site marks the first time the company has self-designed one of its facilities. The geothermal system heats and cools the facility.
