Gox lost nearly 750,000 customer bitcoins, as well as 100,000 of the exchange’s own bitcoins.

“First and foremost, this is not Mark Karpeles,” hackers wrote.

The phrase “getting Goxed” has become synonymous with the frustration felt by many Mt.
