The defaultIP addressused to jump into the router is192.168.1.1; this is a commondefault address among Linksys routers.

Which Hardware Version Do You Have?
Some routers come in two or morehardwareorfirmwareversions, each with different default login information.
However, the EA2700 is available in only one version and therefore uses only one set of credentials.
If you don’t see a version number on your router, you might assume it’s Version 1.
A reset is not the same as a restart.
A reset, however, returns your router to its factory default prefs.
The Ethernet port lights on the back will flash simultaneously to show that the router is resetting.
Wait 1530 seconds for the equipment to power back on fully.

Be sure tochange the router passwordto something more secure.
Adding back in all the customizations you made to your router after resetting them can be a tedious process.

Instead of resetting the router, simplyfind the default gateway of a computerconnected to the router.
