A home security camera without a subscription to a monitoring service really is more about peace-of-mind than anything.

So, my hope when Safemo sent the cameras was that I could have that.

Here’s how the Safemo Security Cameras faired under those conditions.

I was quickly overwhelmed.

Fortunately, installation instructions are included (yes, I occasionally read them).

The Safemo Camera installed outside a home with the solar panel attached.

Yes, there is a wire to the solar panel, but the cameras wirelessly transmit videos to the hub station, which is inside your home.Lifewire / Jerri Ledford

After reading through the installation instructions, I was less overwhelmed, so I tackled putting everything together.

Turns out, that’s a lot easier than it seemed.

In all (minor panic attack included), putting the cameras together took me about 15 minutes.

That included just attaching the 5W solar panel to its base and then to the camera.

Then, I plugged in the base station (which Safemo calls the Hub) and connected the cameras.

That process took maybe another 15 minutes.

Using Your Safemo Outdoor Security Cameras

Once everything is installed, using the cameras is pretty simple.

Everything is in the Safemo app.

The cameras have a few other features you could control from the app, too.

And the images/videos from these cameras can be set to 4K resolution.

It eats up the storage on the base unit pretty quickly but gives you very clear videos and pictures.

Is the Safemo 4K Outdoor Security Camera System Worth It?

So, the Safemo cameras aren’t the least expensive ones you could buy.

In other words, I finally have the peace of mind I’ve been searching for.

So, yes, I think the Safemo 4K Wireless Security Camera Outdoor System is definitely worth it.
