TapGoogle>Google Account.
Your name and Gmail address will be displayed at the top of the page if youre logged in.
Youll likely already have gotten a notification if you oughta sign in.
On some phones you might need to tapGoogle>SecurityorGoogle>Find My machine.
UnderFind My Deviceit will say OnorOff.
If its off, tapFind My Deviceand toggle the switch toOn.
Go back toSecurity & locationand scroll down to thePrivacysection.
UnderLocation,it will say OnorOff.
If its off, tapLocationand toggle the switch toOn.
Here, it’s possible for you to see recent location requests from apps on your phone.
By default, your phone is visible on Google Play, but its possible to hide it.
To check your devices status on Google Play, go toplay.google.com/options.
On that page you’ll see a list of your devices.
UnderVisibility, selectShow in menus.
Enabling location services willeat up batterylife.
The rig’s location information is not required to lock and erase your rig remotely.
Every time you use Find My machine, you’ll get an alert on the machine youre tracking.
Start by opening a web client tab, then go togoogle.com/android/findand log into your Google account.
Find My unit will attempt to detect your smartphone, smartwatch, or tablet.
If location services are on, Find My rig will reveal its location.
If it’s working, you’ll see a map with a pin dropped at the gear’s location.
On the left side of the screen are tabs for each unit you’ve connected to a Google account.
Sign in to the app using your Google credentials, and youll get the same experience as on desktop.
