What Happens When You Turn off Contact Sync on Instagram?
Step 2:Tap onAccounts Center>Your information and permissions.
Step 3:Tap onUpload contacts, select yourInstagram account, and turn offConnect contacts.
However, turning off this toggle does not delete any previously synced contacts.
It only prevents new contacts from syncing on Instagram.
Step 1:Open and jump in to your Instagram account on aweb surfing app.
Step 2:press thehamburger menu iconat the bottom left and click onSettings.
Step 3:Click onSee more in Accounts Center.
Step 4:Click onYour information and permissions>Manage contacts.
Step 5:Click onDeleteto remove all the synced contacts.
On iPhone
OpenSettings>Instagram> turn off the toggle forContacts.
On Android
Step 1:Open theSettingsapp and selectApps>Instagram.
Step 2:SelectPermissions>Contacts> selectDont Allow.
