How Do I Unblock Someone on Facebook Messenger?
In the app, tap your profile picture in the top left part of the screen.
Once in the Chats menu, tapPrivacyto gain access to your app’s privacy options.
Once in thePrivacypage, tapBlocked accounts.
From here, tap the person you’d like to unblock.
Click theMessengericon on the top right of the screen.
Then click thethree-dot menuand selectBlock controls.
Click theEditbutton to the right ofBlock users.
Once at theBlock messagespop-up menu, clickSee your blocked listto see who you’ve blocked.
Find the individual you want to unblock and click theUnblockbutton to the right of their profile picture and name.
While Messenger on the web, click your profile picture in the top left and selectPreferences.
On thePreferencesprompt, scroll down to the bottom and clickManage blocking.
By clickingManage blocking, you are redirected to theBlocking settingsof your Facebook account.
From here, clickBlock messages > See your blocked list.
At thePreferencesscreen, selectAccount tweaks.
This will open your default online window and take you to your Facebook account configs.
Once at theSettingspage for your Facebook profile, selectBlocking.
Once at theBlockingpage, select theEditbutton to the right ofBlock messages.
SelectSee your blocked list,and then just clickUnblocknext to the person you want to unblock.
Tofind out if you’ve been blocked on Facebook Messenger, send the person a message.
If it goes through, they haven’t blocked you.
On Facebook.com, hover the cursor over a message and select thethree dots>Remove.
