To turn off SOS mode on iPhone 14, stick to this:

Open theSettingsapp and selectEmergency SOS.

Turn off the toggles forCall with Hold and ReleaseandCall with 5 Button Presses.

Optionally, turn off the toggle forCall After Severe Crashif you like.

To jump into the screen, hold the side button and one of the volume buttons simultaneously.

Then, drag theEmergency SOSslider to make the call.

Just keep in mind that other parameters on your iPhone 14 can inadvertently trigger Emergency SOS.

Release the side button and volume button on your iPhone before the countdown ends.

If the call goes through before it’s possible for you to stop it, dont hang up.

Wait for emergency services to answer and explain that the call was a mistake.

If you do, then by all means, leave it as-is.

But if not, you may want to turn it off to avoid accidental calls.
