How to Set the Firefox Homepage
Changing the homepage prefs is optional.
It isn’t required to use Firefox or any of its features.
With Firefox open, select thehamburger menuin the upper-right corner.
Or, pressCommand+Comma(macOS) orCtrl+Comma(Windows) to launch the preferences.
From the left menu bar, selectHome.
Firefox Home can be customized on the same screen as the Firefox homepage configs under theFirefox Home Contentheading.
Checked items appear on your homepage, while unchecked ones are removed.
If you selectedCustom URLs, copy and paste the URL into the text field.
Using a custom URL can be useful if you check the same site every time you open Firefox.
Common homepage sites include social networks, email clients like Gmail or Outlook, or search engines like Google.
Enter the URL of your desired homepage.
TapReturnto finish entering and select this option.
You may want to go back and repeat these steps for theNew Tabsection.
Hover over theTop Sitessection and click thethree-dotmenu.
Enter aTitleandURLfor the site you want to add.
If you don’t set one, Firefox uses a preview of the site.
ClickAddto save the new site.
