First, installOffice Onlinefrom the Chrome Web Store.
This extension gives you fast access to open existing Office files stored locally or on OneDrive.
It also lets you create new Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files from the Chrome internet tool.
Alternatively, go toOffice.comand sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
From the internet tool, it’s possible for you to access Office Online apps.
Conversely,Swayis only an Office Online app in the Chromebook internet tool.
Additionally, you might’t access not every Office app online.
Each of these apps requires an additional subscription.
The same is true for Excel (.xls and .xlsx) and PowerPoint (.ppt and .pptx) formats.
You shouldn’t need to plant the extension on your Chromebook since it should be installed by default.
