If the media has this switch, confirm the switch is set to write, not read-only.
Open File Explorer (pressWin+e) and navigate to the machine and folder containing the file.

SelectRead-onlyto remove the check mark.
PressWindows key+rto fire up the Run dialog box.
Look at the Size column to locate the write-protected flash drive.
In this example, the computer hard drive is 29 GB and the USB drive is 977 MB.
Enter the commandselect diskdisk_numberand then pressEnter.
you could now exit the window.
