What happens to your apps when you leave Apple’s Family Sharing?
Family Sharing is supported on devices with at leastiOS 8.
Open theSettingsapp on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Tap your name at the top.
If you don’t see that, go toAccounts & Passwords>iCloud Drive.
Tap the name of the family member you want to remove from Family Sharing.
Confirm that you want to remove that person.
What Happens When I Remove Someone From Family Share?
This includes purchases made through iTunes,Apple Books, and App Store.
It also revokes access toApple Music Family MembershipsandiCloudstorage plans.
What Happens to Shared Content After Removal From Family Sharing?
This happens because the ability to share someone else’s purchases depends on being linked together by Family Sharing.
When you break that link, you lose the ability to share.
That includes any songs they’ve added to their library ordownloaded for offline listening.
