Launch theiMovie appon a Mac.
nudge the down-facingImportarrow at the top of the iMovie screen.
Go to theCamerassection in the left panel, then selectFaceTime HD Camera.
opt for circularRecordbutton at the bottom of the screen to begin recording.
Click it again to stop recording.
PressCloseat the bottom of the screen to terminate the recording window.
Open thePhoto Boothapp by clicking its icon in theMac Dockor choosing it in the Applications folder.
To record, press the redRecordbutton in the center of the screen.
Press it again to stop recording.
Thumbnail images appear under the main image.
These thumbnail images represent the videos or photos you took with Photo Booth.
opt for one you want to export.
The one you last recorded is on the right.
Click theShareicon in the lower-right corner of the window, then choose a sharing method.
In addition to being an excellent tool for recording video, it also plays a variety of video formats.
Here’s how to record a movie with it.
Go to theApplicationsfolder and openQuicktime Player.
Go to the menu bar and selectFile>New Movie Recording.
By default, this option opens the front-facing camera on the Mac.
Press the redRecordbutton in the center of the screen to begin recording.
Press it a second time to stop recording.
Go to the menu bar and selectFile>Saveto save the recording.
Or, select thered circlein the upper-left corner of the QuickTime Player screen to exit the screen.
You are prompted to give the recording a name and location to save it.
However, it isn’t as high-quality as a dedicated camera.
Here’s how to record a video on Windows 10.
Go to theStartmenu and open theCameraapp, or go to the search bar and search forCamera.
Select thevideo cameraicon to snag the recording option.
Select thevideo cameraicon to start recording.
Click theStopbutton to stop the recording.
Use thePausebutton to stop the camera temporarily and restart it later.
The default location for photos and videos you take using Camera isThis PC>Pictures>Camera Roll.
There are dozens of applications you’ve got the option to use to record video on Windows.
Still, the built-in Camera app is the most accessible.
