ChooseControl Panelfrom the menu that appears after pressingWIN+Xor right-clicking on theStart button.
SelectUninstall a programlocated under theProgramsheading, orAdd or Remove Programsif you’re using Windows XP.
Not all programs will show their installed updates here, but some will.
ChooseUninstall,Uninstall/Change, orRemoveto uninstall the program.
The specifics of what happens now depends on the program you happen to be uninstalling.
Answer any prompts as best you canjust remember that you’re wanting tocompletelyremove the program from your rig.
If uninstalling doesn’t work for some reason, try adedicated software uninstallerto remove the program.
start your system, even if you’re not required to.
Don’t consider this an optional step.
Verify that the program you uninstalled has been fully uninstalled.
Feel free to delete them yourself.
load the most updated version of the software available.
reset your system again.
Test the reinstalled program.
