Highlight and copy the numeral confirmation code underConfirmation code.
Select your account’siconin the top right corner.
sign on to Gmail again, this time with the account to which you’re importing.
Open theAccounts and Importtab.
SelectVerifyfor the old Gmail account’s address underSend mail as.
Paste the verification code underEnter and verify the confirmation code.
SelectVerifyto finish connecting the accounts.
Gmail will not fetch all messages in one go.
Typically, importing will start with the oldest messages.
Gmail will download messages in your old Gmail account’sSent Maillabel along with messages you’ve received.
Sent mail will appear under the new account’s Sent Mail label, too.
Select theSettingsgear icon in the new Gmail account.
Go to theAccounts and Importcategory.
Selectdeletefor the Gmail account from which you imported underCheck mail from other accounts.
SelectOKon theConfirm delete mail accountprompt.
How to Manually Move Emails
The steps above work solely within Gmail.
The messages from your old account will feature new labels.
