How to Download in Rest Mode
From the PS5 Home screen, go toSettings.
SelectFeatures Available in Rest Mode.
SelectStay Connected to the Internetto enable it (if it’s not already enabled).
To download updates in Rest Mode, go back toSettingsand selectSaved Data and Game/App prefs.
ensure bothAuto-DownloadandAuto-Install in Rest Modeare enabled.
Press thePS Buttonon the PS5 controller to bring up the Control Center.
Highlight the download and press theOptions buttonon the PS5 controller.
To resume the download, press thePS buttonto bring up the Control Center and selectDownloads.
opt for paused download, then selectResume.
To use a wired setup, you must make some adjustments to the system controls:
SelectNetwork.
SelectSet Up Internet Connection.
SelectSet Up Manuallyat the bottom.
SelectUse a LAN Cable.
Adjust the parameters to your liking, then selectDone.
SelectPrimary DNSand set it to8.8.8.8.
SelectSecondary DNSand set it to8.8.4.4.
