Other phones should work similarly.

Change the Samsung Keyboard Size

Samsung devices have keyboard size controls hidden away in the configs app.

Here’s how to get there:

Open theSettingsapp.

The four dot menu, Resize, the top handle, and the checkmark highlighted in Gboard for Android.

Use the controls along the edges of the keyboard to adjust its size.

TapDoneto save the new size.

Some phones work differently.

If the above steps don’t work for you, pull up the keyboard and tap the gear icon.

Then, go toPreferences>Keyboard height.

Tap-and-drag the top or bottom of the keyboard to resize it.

Press thecheckmarkwhen finished to save.

Android’s Magnification feature, available through the Accessibility menu, also doesn’t work with the default keyboard.

That isnt ideal if you only want a larger keyboard.

Some can be resized and change the typing experience, offering better one-handed use or more aggressive predictive text.

you’re able to also download custom Android keyboards from the Google Play Store.

Toturn on text-to-speech on Android, go toSettings>Accessibility>Select to Speak.

To change the language and voice, go toSettings>General management>Language and input>Text-to-Speech.

Android accessibility optionsinclude vision, hearing, and dexterity support.

For a completely screenless Android experience, useTalkbackto control your phone with your voice.
