This step is only useful if you’ve been texting the user who might have blocked you.

Open Snapchat and tap theChattab to see your list of conversations.

If this is the case, move on to the next step.

If a user has blocked you, they won’t show up when you search for them on Snapchat.

It’s vital to understand the difference between being blocked and being deleted on Snapchat.

Tap theSearchicon at the top of the screen tosearch for the person on Snapchat.

pop in their username, if you remember it, or their name.

You’ll get more accurate results if you know their username.

There could be several other users with similar full names, but usernames are all unique.

If the search shows their username under theAdd Friendssection, that means they’ve deleted you.

Search for their username from a different account.

Ask them to search for the person.

If none of these steps worked, your friend likely deleted their account.

Blocked users can’t find you on Snapchat, even if they search for you.

They also can’t send you snaps, view your stories, or start a chat with you.

The user is also listed in the Blocked Users area of the controls.

Todelete a Snapchat account, sign in ataccounts.snapchat.com, and selectDelete My Account.

To reactivate within 30 days, just sign back into your account.

After 30 days, it’s gone forever.
