Go to theMicrosoft 365 portalpage and sign in to your Microsoft account.
On theMicrosoft 365 Homeweb page, selectInstall Office.
On theDownload and install Microsoft 365 Homescreen, selectInstall.
Depending on the web surfing app you use, a prompt toRunorSavethe downloaded file might appear.
Office gets things ready and then installs the Office apps.
Activate Microsoft 365 for Home
After Office installs, activate your subscription.
To activate Office:
Open one of the Office apps, for example, Word.
put in your Microsoft email address and password.
On theAccept the license agreementscreen, selectAccept.
