However, there might be purchases that you don’t want to share with everyone else.

Open theApp Storeapp.

Tap the picture thumbnail from the upper-right corner.

Swipe from right to left on any app that you want to hide from Family Sharing, and selectHide.

TapDoneat the top when you’re finished.

There are alsovault appsfor hiding photos, videos, and texts.

These steps pertain toiTunes 12.9.

Open iTunes and selectStorenear the center of the top of the program.

SelectPurchasedfrom the right-hand column, mid-way down the page.

If asked, sign on with yourApple ID/Apple Accountthat’s associated with Family Sharing.

SelectMusic,Movies,TV Shows,Books, orAudiobooksfrom the top right.

Hover the mouse over the items you want hidden from Family Sharing, and selectXat the top left.

From iTunes, go to theAccountmenu and selectView My Account.

You might be asked to sign in with your Apple Account.

Scroll down to theiTunes in the Cloudsection and selectManage.

Locate the hidden song, movie, book, app, etc.

through the menus at the top right.

SelectUnhideto make the purchase available through Family Sharing again.
