These instructions only work for the Android and iOS versions of Among Us, includingemulating Among Us on Mac.
The Windows version only allows letters and numbers for names, not special characters or punctuation.
Unfortunately, a patch to the game made it impossible to play online with a blank name.
Open Among Us, and tapONLINE.
Tap the name field at the top of the screen.
Delete the current name.
You may see Enter Name here or the last name you used on this gadget.
Tap the blank name field, and selectPaste.
Verify that you only pasted the dot from step one, then tapOKor the checkmark to proceed.
If you pasted quotation marks as well, delete them before proceeding.
When you start playing, your name will be a tiny dot.
Open Among Us, and tapLOCAL.
Tap the name field, and paste the blank character from the first step.
Verify that you pasted only the blank character, and tapOKor the check mark to proceed.
If you pasted anything else, delete it before moving on.
TapCreate Gameto host a local game, or select a local game from the list.
Start playing Among Us with no name.
Why Play Among Us With No Name?
However, there are limits to the usefulness of playing with no name.
While it may help a bit during a fast-paced game, you wont fool attentive players.
