Both email accounts use the same server tweaks
Windows Live Mail is a discontinued email client from Microsoft.

To do that, throw in the correctIMAPandSMTPserver during the account setup.
Windows Live Mail uses those servers to download and send mail on your behalf.
Unlike some email providers, both Outlook and Hotmail use the same IMAP and SMTP servers.
Go to the Windows Live Mail ribbon menu and selectAccounts.
The Add Your Email Accounts window opens.
type your email address, password, and display name for your sent messages.
Select theRemember this passwordcheckbox.
Select theManually configure server settingscheckbox.
Select theServer typedrop-down arrow and chooseIMAP.
In theIncoming server informationsection, go to theServer addresstext box and enterimap-mail.outlook.com.
Select theRequires a secure connection (SSL)checkbox.
In thePorttext box, enter993.
Select theAuthenticate usingdrop-down arrow and chooseClear text.
In theLogin user nametext box, type your full email address.
For example, typeemail@outlook.comfor an Outlook Mail account orexample@hotmail.comfor Hotmail.
In theOutgoing server informationsection, go to theServer addresstext box and entersmtp-mail.outlook.com.
In thePorttext box, enter587.
Select theRequires a secure connection (SSL)andRequires authenticationcheckboxes.
Other programs can be used to download and send mail, too, thatareupdated with the most recent features.
For example, Microsoft Mail and Outlook programs are email clients that work much like Windows Live Mail.
