From theMessagesapp, bring up the conversation you want to forward.

Press and hold the message until additional options appear.

Tap thecirclenext to the messages you want to forward.

Select theForwardbutton to open theNew MMSscreen.

In theTofield, enter the email address you want to send the texts to.

Messages are sent as plain text, without any indication of which participant said what.

Images and videos can also be forwarded in this way.

When a text message is forwarded to an email address, it isn’t formatted.

The email may have one or more attachments separated by file bang out.

and is confirmed to work for Android 10 Q.

Open theMessagesapp and opt for conversation that contains the messages you want to forward.

Tap and hold the message you want to forward until more options appear.

Some phones may not display these options.

Instead, tap the message, tap the three vertical dots, then tapForward.

TapForward, which may appear as an arrow.

Not all Android devices have this feature.

On some devices, you could select multiple messages at the same time, while on others you could’t.

The SMS program also varies from provider to provider.

The Google Play store has several third-party messaging apps includingHandcentandChomp SMSthat make forwarding texts easy.

Other apps automatically forward texts to a pre-established email address.

Then enter the recipient number along with your carrier’s SMS or MMS address.

The format will look something like this:[yourphonenumber]@[serviceprovidergateway.com or .net].

Some examples include yournumber@txt.att.net, yournumber@tmomail.net, and yournumber@vtext.com.
