Power on the iPad.

Press and hold theSleep/Wake buttonat the top of the iPad.

Force start your iPadif the normal power-on procedure doesn’t work.

If the iPad doesn’t boot up after a few seconds, the battery is probably drained.

If your gadget seems to run out of power often, take steps toextend your iPad’s battery life.

Fix your disabled iPad.

If your iPad still doesn’t turn on, it may have a hardware failure.

The easiest solution is tomake an Apple Store appointment.

Apple employees can help determine your iPad’s underlying issue.

But the problem could be more serious than that, including corrupted software or a hardware issue.
