A common glitch is an Apple Watch displaying upside down.

Try these fixes in the order presented (easiest to most difficult) for your best chances of success.

Check the Watch app tweaks on your iPhone.
The most likely problem is that your watch orientation setting is incorrect.
If the configs look fine, try switching them to other options and switching back.
Modify parameters on your Apple Watch.
power cycle your Apple Watch.
Restarting a gear often fixes glitches.
Wait around 30 seconds, and then press and hold theSide buttonagain until the Apple Watch starts back up.
Do a hard restart on the Apple Watch.
If you’re able to’t turn off your watch, try a hard restart.
Update the Apple Watch system software.In some cases, a misbehaving Apple Watch needs a software update.
If so, follow the on-screen directions to install it.
Reset the Apple Watch to factory options.
This is the last resort.
A reset completely deletes your Apple Watch data and returns all its prefs to their defaults.

In the Watch app, go toGeneral>Resetand follow the prompts.
Usually, adjusting the parameters is enough to fix the issue.
However, you might also need to reset it.
Then, flip the screen orientation by going toSettings>General>Orientation.
