Log into yourhome router as an administrator.
Visit the website of your router’s manufacturer to learn how to access your router’s dashboard.
You’ll likely see the online grid security key there.

TapLocal>Deviceto see your equipment’s root folder.
reach the root folder, and navigate tomisc>wifito see the Wi-Fi security key in thewpa_supplicant.conffile.
TapSettings>iCloud>Keychain.
double-check the Keychain toggle is in theOnposition.
Go back toSettingsand turn onPersonal Hotspot.
On your Mac, connect to your iPhone’sPersonal Hotpot.
Press theCMD and Spacekeys on your Mac to fire up the Searchlight utility.
In the search field, typekeychain accessand pressEnter.
jot down thename of your Wi-Fi connection(the SSID), then double-grab the SSID.
You might need to punch in your Mac’s admin password to display the password.
Click theStartmenu, and typeNetwork Status.
Select theNetwork statussystem prefs utility.
In the connection Status window, selectChange adapter options.
In the connection Connections window, right-nudge the active Wi-Fi connection adapter and selectStatus.
In the Wi-Fi Status window, selectWireless Propertiesto bring up the Wireless internet Properties window.
Then, underNetwork security key, selectShow characters.
This will reveal the data pipe security key for your wireless data pipe.
Open Finder and selectGo>Utilities.
Selectlogin, and scroll through the list of online grid connections to find your active online grid.
If you don’t see the active data pipe, selectSystemand find the active data pipe there.
On Mac OS X systems older than version 10.6.x, in theKeychainswindow, selectAll Items.
Scroll through the list of web link connections to find your active web link.
UnderName, select your active online grid.
Under theAttributestab, checkShow password.
key in your Mac Administrator or Keychain password and selectOK.
Find the web link password in theShow passwordfield.
If you’re free to’t connect, it’s possible that someone changed the internet key.
