The pop-up blocker for Mac computers is accessible through theWeb contentsection of Safari’s prefs.

From the menu along the top of the Safari window, chooseSafari>Preferences.

To do the same when visiting other websites, selectWhen visiting other websitesin the lower-right corner of the window.

If this checkbox is selected, Safari’s integrated pop-up blocker is enabled.

In older OS X versions, selectWindows>Preferences, then check theBlock pop-up windowsbox.

From the home screen, openSettings.

Scroll down the list and tapSafari.

In the Safari screen, locate theGeneralsection.

Tap theBlock Pop-upstoggle switch to turn it on or off.

It turns green to indicate that Safari is blocking pop-ups.
