Go to theHometab and, in theDeletegroup, selectJunk.
SelectLowif you want to filter obvious junk email messages.
SelectHighto filter out the greatest amount of junk emails.
AHighlevel of junk email protection may move some safe messages to the Junk Email folder.
All other messages are filtered to the Junk Email folder.
SelectWarn me about suspicious domain names in email addressesfor extra protection against phishing messages.
SelectOKwhen you’re finished.
Keep the Outlook spam filter up to date usingMicrosoft or Office Update.
Report Phishing Messages
you could report suspicious messages to Microsoft to help improve spam filters.
pick the suspicious message.
Go to theHometab and selectJunk.
What If Report Phishing Is Missing?
If the Report Junk or Report Phishing option is missing from the Junk menu, turn on the add-in.
In theOutlook Optionsdialog box, select theAdd-instab.
In theInactive Applicationslist, selectMicrosoft Junk Email Reporting Add-in.
Select theManagedropdown arrow, chooseCom Add-ins, then selectGo.
Select theMicrosoft Junk Email Reporting Add-incheckbox.
SelectOKto activate the add-in and restore the Report Junk options.
Restart Outlook if prompted.
If the Microsoft Junk Email Reporting Add-in is not listed, download it from Microsoft.
