How to Compress a Folder
A zipped orcompressed fileis smaller in size than its original version.
Combining several files into one compressed folder makes it easier to send as an email attachment.
Windows makes creating a zipped file super simple.
Locate the folder you want to compress.
Right-click it, then go toSend to>Compressed (zipped) folder.
Wait while a new folder is created in the same location as the original folder.
The new one has the same name as the original with “.zip"added to the end.
To rename the zipped folder, right-click it, selectRename, enter a new name, then pressEnter.
Start Outlook and open a new email message.
