When you tap a link or open a file, you’re offered a choice of apps.
Don’t see those options?
TapDefault appsorChoose default apps(whichever option you see).
For example, selectBrowser appto pick a different web online window, orSMS appto choose a differenttexting app.
Select an appto make it the new default app.
Tap theback arrowto return to the previous page.
Your selected app is listed as the default.
Some Android manufacturers install their own defaults and offer limited capability to make changes.
It’s hidden away in an overflow menu in the configs app.
Here’s how to get there:
OpenSettingsand selectApps.
Tap thethree dotsat the top right.
On some phones, you have to first tapSee all [#] appsto find this menu.
Read the confirmation to ensure this is what you want to do, and then tapReset appsorReset.
