In the mobile app, on the main menu at the bottom of the screen, tapMy NetflixthenDownloads.
On Windows, select thehamburger menuin the upper-left corner.
For Windows, selectMy Downloads>Find Something to Download.
You’ll see a list of videos that can be downloaded to your gear.
Not all Netflix titles are available to download because of licensing restrictions.
you’re free to begin watching a movie or show that’s only partially downloaded.
This is handy if you’re in an area with poor Wi-Fi and lose your internet connection.
To start a download, do the following:
Find a movie or TV show you want to download.
SelectDownloads(mobile app) orMy Downloads(Windows) to find and play your recent download.
If you’re on Windows, select thehamburger menuand chooseMy Downloads.
Tap thecheckmarkto the right of the title, or snag the title if you’re on Windows.
Delete All Netflix Downloads
Tap yourprofile iconin the upper-right corner.
For Windows, select thethree-dot menu.
TapApp options, orSettingson Windows.
you’ve got the option to turn this off if you wish.
Video quality is also set to standard by default to help you save storage space.
How Long Do Netflix Downloads Last?
Shows and movies you download on Netflix stay on your gear for seven days.
Many downloadable titles are renewed on Netflix and are still available even after they expire from your downloads section.
However, you better opt-in for this feature.
Here’s how:
If you don’t see the prompt toSet upwhen you first enter, selectDownloads.
Adjust how much storage space to use by tapping theplus(+) orminus(-) sign.
Toggle offDownloads for You.
