First, get an overview of what’s being stored on your gear.

Navigate to theSettingsapp on your iPhone or iPad and tapSettings.

In theSettingsapp, tapGeneral.

Offload App option on iOS

SelectiPhone Storage (oriPad Storage).

There are multiple paths that you might choose to take to clear up storage space at this point.

The easiest thing to do is to enableOffload Unused Apps, which can minimize Other without any extra fuss.

To turn it on, tabEnable.

TapEnableto turn on Offload Unused Apps.

Scroll to the bottom of theiPhone StorageoriPad Storagescreen and look for theOtheroption.

You should now see a reduction in the amount of space Other is using.

In the storage screen, your unit has selected several for your review.

In theiPhone StorageoriPad Storagescreen, tapReview Large Attachments.

Tap theEditbutton at the top of the Attachments screen.

Choose an app that you don’t need to keep and tap on it.

you might either choose toOffloadthis specific app, or you might simplydeleteit.

Offloading an app doesnt delete the app’s data.

If youre uninterested in ever using an app again, you may as well delete the app in question.

You should now have more free space to use however youd like on youriPhone or iPad.

Scroll through the list of apps on theiPhone StorageoriPad Storagescreen and tapSafari.

TapWebsite Datain the Safari information screen.

TapRemove All Website Dataat the bottom of the screen.

Back out to theSafariinformation screen andleft-swipe theOffline Reading List.

SelectDeleteto remove any saved reading list items.
