The following instructions show you how to delete messages on Facebook.com.
Select theMessengerbutton in the top right corner.
SelectSee All in Messengerat the bottom of the Messenger window.
Then hover your cursor over the message you want to delete.
Select thethree vertical dots(More) followed byRemove.
SelectRemovefrom the popup box to confirm.
Note
The message only disappears from your account.
Anyone else in the chat can still see the message.
