it’s possible for you to also use a letter or symbol if you prefer.
Go to theInserttab, then selectHeader & Footer.
To display the footnote on the current slide, selectApply.
To display the footnote on all slides, selectApply to All.
Go to theHometab, and then select thediagonal arrowin the lower-right corner of theFontsection.
In theFontdialog box, go to theFonttab (if it isn’t selected).
SelectSuperscriptin theEffectssection to enable it, then selectOK.
To raise or lower the position of the superscript, adjust theOffsetvalue.
The footnote indicator displays in the proper superscript format.
Repeat this as many times as necessary to convert all footnote indicators to the correct size.
To remove footnotes, go toInsert>Header & Footer, then clear theFootercheck box and chooseApplyorApply to All.
Go to theHometab in the upper-left corner of PowerPoint, then select theSuperscripticon (x2) in theFontsection.
A new text box is added to the slide.
Replace the placeholder text with a number, letter, or symbol.
opt for text character so that it’s highlighted, then go to theHometab.
This gives it the appearance of a superscript even though it’s technically a smaller font.
Drag the text box to position it to the right of the text or image it references.
Drag the text box to the bottom of the slide.
