That way, everyone in the distribution list receives the same message and you save time.

Here’s how:

Open Outlook.

Go to theHometab and selectNew Items.

SelectMore Items>Contact Group.

In theContact Groupwindow, place the cursor in theNametext box and pop in a name for the distribution list.

Leave theContact Groupwindow open.

To add contacts to a contact group:

In theContact Groupwindow, go to theContact Grouptab.

SelectAdd Members>From Outlook Contacts.

In theSelect Members: Contactsdialog box, choose a contact and selectMembersto add that contact to the distribution list.

If a contact isn’t listed, search for the contact by name or email address.

If you still can’t find the contact, select theAddress Bookdropdown arrow and choose a different list.

Repeat step 3 for each of the contacts that you want to add to the distribution list.

In theContact Groupwindow, selectSave & Close.

In theContact Groupwindow, go to theContact Grouptab and selectAdd Members>New E-mail Contact.

In theDisplay nametext box, pop in a name for the contact.

If you dont know the contacts name, enter their email address or pop in an alias.

In theE-mail addresstext box, enter the email address of the new contact.

In theContact Groupwindow, selectSave & Closeto save the changes to the distribution list.

Instead of making them set up the same contact group from scratch, share the contact group with them.

It’s as easy assending an email attachment.

To share a contact group:

Go toOutlook People.

Double-tap the distribution group you want to share.

In theContact Groupwindow, go to theContact Grouptab and selectForward Group>As an Outlook Contact.

ChooseIn Internet Format (vCard)to attach a text file containing the group members' names and addresses.

Address the message to the person you want to receive the distribution list.

pop pop the message that contains the attached Outlook contact file for the group.

choose the attachment dropdown arrow.

In theContact Groupwindow, go toFile>Info.

SelectMove to Folder>Copy to Folder.

In theCopy Item todialog box, select theContactsfolder.
