On Instagram, you’re free to change your username and display name whenever you want.
In theProfilepage that appears, tapEdit Profile.
In theEdit Profilescreen, tap theNamefield to change your display name or tap theUsernamefield to change your username.
Go to Instagramand log into your profile using your current username and password.
From theHomescreen, click your Profile picture in the upper-right side of the screen.
Alternatively, you might poke the smallProfilepicture in the far upper-right corner and then selectProfilefrom the menu that appears.
On your InstagramProfilepage, clickEdit Profile.
To change yourDisplay Name, key in your new name in theNamefield.
To change yourUsername, key in your new name in theUsernamefield.
Once you’ve made the desired changes, clickSubmitto save the changes.
If you don’t immediately see the changes you made to yourDisplay Name, try refreshing the page.
