Here’s a quick way to change the color of a tab in Excel:
Right-tap the tab.
SelectTab Colorto kick off the color palette.
tap on a color to select it.
Hover over a color in the color palette to preview the color on the sheet tab.
To see more colors, selectMore Colorsto fire up the custom color palette.
Once the last key in the sequence the T is pressed and released, a color palette opens.
Each key is pressed and released in succession.
Press and release theHkey to display the hot keys for theHometab.
Press and release theOkey to open theFormatdropdown list.
Press and release theTkey to open theTab Colorcolor palette.
The current tab color is highlighted (surrounded by an orange border).
If you haven’t previously changed the tab color, white is selected.
choose the desired color.
To see more colors, press theMkey to fire up the custom color palette.
Then choose a color.
Press and hold theShiftkey.
If you select too many sheets, press and holdShift, then punch the correct end sheet.
press the tab of the first worksheet to make it the active sheet.
Hold down theCtrlkey on the keyboard and press the tabs of all the worksheets to be changed.
To deselect a sheet, press and hold theCtrlkey, then punch the sheet tab.
