Click theAppleicon in the upper-left corner of the screen, and selectSystem Preferences.
Click your current connection on the left and then clickAdvancedin the lower-right corner of the window.
Make note of the IP address displayed in this window.
Your new IP address needs to be identical, with only the third number changed.
Enter the IP address you want to use, and clickOK.
Verify that your new local IP address is displayed and clickApply.
Verify that you are able to connect to the internet.
If you chose a new IP that’s already in use, you may encounter a conflict.
Restart the router to reset the conflict.

Enter the information provided by your proxy provider and clickOK.

You canset up a VPN on your Macusing internet options or just download an app from the App Store.
Launch the VPN, connect to a server, and clickAllowif prompted.
If you want to return to your original IP, disconnect from the VPN server.
Others provide a new IP each time your router is restarted.
