Check your Office version.

Open Outlook and go toFile>Office Account(orAccount) >About Outlook.

You’ll see either64-bitor32-bitlisted at the top.

There’s a32-bit and a 64-bitversion of MFCMAPI.

Download the right one for your version of MS Office, not for your Windows version.

Extract theMFCMAPI.exefile from theZIParchive, then open theEXEfile.

In MFCMAPI, go toSession>Logon.

Select theProfile Namedrop-down arrow and choose the desired profile.

There may be one calledOutlook.

In theDisplay Namecolumn, double-click your Outlook email profile.

In the viewer, choose the arrow to the left ofRootto expand it.

If you don’t seeIPM_SUBTREE, chooseTop of Information StoreorTop of Outlook data file.

SelectOpen associated contents table.

Go to theSubjectsection, right-clickIPM.Configuration.Autocomplete, and then chooseExport message.

In theSave Message To Filewindow, select theFormat to save messagedropdown arrow and chooseMSG file (UNICODE).

Save theMSGfile somewhere safe.

you’re able to now exit MFCMAPI and use Outlook normally.

Then, place your new NK2 file there.
