Add Recipients to a Gmail Group
Open Gmail.
From the list, chooseContacts.
If you don’t seeContacts, selectMoreto view additional choices.
A check box is revealed.
choose the box to place a check mark in it.
At the top of the list, several new icons appear.
Select theManage labels(right-facing arrow) icon.
From the list, choose the group or label you’d like to add the contacts to.
At the bottom of the list, selectApply.
If the group doesn’t exist, selectCreate labelin theManage labelslist.
In theCreate labeldialog box, enter a label name and selectSave.
you’re free to check your work by selecting the appropriate label in the left pane.
The contacts you added to the group should now appear in it.
There are a couple of ways to add a new contact.
In the sidebar that appears, choose theAdd to Contactsbutton.
Repeat for each new contact you want to add.
When you selectCreate contact, you’re given two options:Create a contactandCreate multiple contacts.
If you choose the first one, the new window that appears is calledCreate a new contact.
In theNew Messagebox, selectTo.
In theSelect contactsbox, to the right and above the list of names, grab the drop-down menu.
Choose the group you want to send the email to.
A list of the contacts in that group appears.
At the top of the dialog box, checkSelect All.
At the bottom of the dialog box, selectInsert.
All the names in the group appear in theTofield of your message.
Compose your subject and message.
This action prevents recipients from seeing each other’s email addresses.
To do it, selectBccinstead ofToand go through the same steps.
Then, in theTofield, key in your email address and send the email.
