But have you ever found the font you want or need isn’t available?
That’s because Docs only shows a limited number of fonts in the Font Picker.
This takes you to a new, blank Google Doc.
If using a new document, place your cursor where you want it on the page.
If changing existing text, highlight what you want to change, then click theFont Pickerin the upper toolbar.
At the top of theFontslist, selectMore fonts.
Scroll through the list.
Any font that is colored blue and has a checkmark next to it is already in your font list.
Any font colored black is not in your list.
To add a font to the list, click it.
It will turn blue and appear on the right side of the dialog box in theMy fontslist.
If you want to keep your Fonts list tidy, remove unused fonts from your list.
you’ve got the option to always add it back in later if you find you need it.
There are hundreds of fonts listed in theFontsdialog box.
it’s possible for you to also search for a font if you know the font name.
When you’ve finished making your selections, clickOKto close theFontsdialog box.
initiate the document you want to change fonts in for editing.
Highlight the text you want to change and click theFonticon.
The Extensis Fonts add-on does not work with the mobile Google Docs apps.
In the GSuite Marketplace, find and install theExtensis Fonts Add-on.
The Extnesis Fonts font manager opens to the right of your document.
There you’re able to sort and choose the fonts you want to use in your document.
Then, choose a font from the Extnesis font manager and your text will be transformed.
Can You Upload Your Own Fonts in Google Docs?
There is no way to upload your own customized fonts into the software.
This includes fonts that you have created, as well as fonts created by others.
