Like the Windows taskbar and theMac dock, it houses an app launcher and shortcuts to yourcommonly used apps.
it’s possible for you to also add website shortcuts to your Chromebook shelf.
SelectMore tools>Create Shortcut.
Edit the shortcut description to your liking and selectCreatein the pop-up window.
The new shortcut is immediately visible on the Chromebook shelf.
To delete the shortcut,right-clickit and selectUnpin.
You will also see an option forAutohide shelforAlways show shelf, depending on which one is currently active.
WhenAutohide shelfis selected, the shelf disappears when you click an app or a web page.
