After setup, you might find the Apple Watch step counter (or pedometer) in the Activity app.
Here’s how to enter the feature and see how many steps you’ve taken.
Press your Apple Watch Digital Crown and selectActivity.
View your activity rings and statistics on your day’s activity.
Scroll past theMove,Exercise, andStandstatistics until you get toTotal Stepsto view your total step count.
View your step count underActivity.

There’s a quick way to do this on the Apple Watch.
Press the Digital Crown to unlock your Apple Watch, and then selectActivity.
Scroll down and tapWeekly Summary.
Scroll down to view the total steps you’ve taken for the week, along with other information.
Open theFitnessapp on your iPhone.
Tap anywhere in theActivityarea.
Tap a day of the week.
Alternatively, tap theCalendaricon and choose any day in the past to view its stats.
Scroll down to see the total steps taken on that day and other information.
Launch the Fitness app on your iPhone and tap theSharingtab.
On theSharingscreen, you’ll see the activity of people with whom you’refriends on Apple Watch.
However, you’re able to share your step count with any contact.
You’ll see a screen with your basic activity information.
Tap theShareicon at the top right.
Tap a contact or choose to share via the Messages app, email, or social media.
After that, enter in the number of steps you want.
